Hotels and Resorts worldwide have implemented extra health and safety protocols to protect their staff and guests from the COVID-19 virus. These  examples may include but not limited to –

Physical Distancing

  • Physical distancing is enforced in all areas.
  •  Established maximum capacity of guests per consumption center and distance between each table.
  • Safe distance and limited number of lounge chairs in swimming pools and beach areas.
  • Symbols and signs displayed to reinforce safe physical distancing in areas like: front desk, spa, restaurants, swimming pools, etc.
  • Check-in and check-out is done by a single person per family following the distance signs posted on floors.
  • Online or App check-ins available.
  • Physical separation between the lobby receptionist, bartender and cashier with the guest through a protective glass.
  • Staff and guests are encouraged to respect the “no contact” and physical distancing policies, a wave and smile go a long way.

Staff 

  • Staff will wear masks and gloves and, when necessary, other personal protective equipment.
  • Body temperature will be checked with a thermal camera thermometer of staff before each shift.

Disinfecting

  • Luggage will be taken through a sanitation process.
  • Anti-bacterial Hand sanitizer dispensers available at set stations.
  • Availability of face masks for all guests.
  • Work areas, surfaces, materials and equipment routinely and constantly cleaned and disinfected.
  • Rooms will have a “guarantee seal”, indicating that the room has been sanitized under the strict protocols of Preverisk and Cristal.
  • Random Hygiene Photometer tests of rooms, corridors and work equipment to verify proper disinfection practice.
  • Enforce the implemented cleaning and disinfection processes as established by NOM-251 and the international standards of the Preverisk Group and Cristal in kitchen areas and bars.
  • Frequent and routine disinfection of menus, checkbooks, terminals, pens and phones constantly and after each use.
  • Disinfection of chairs, cushions and areas of both the pool and beach restaurants.
  • Strict program for cleaning and disinfecting utensils, towels and work equipment.
