Pools

 

Three Luxurious Pools at Antigua’s Newest Boutique Resort

Sugar Ridge’s two fresh water pools are the center of the resort, surrounded by an expansive pool deck with chaise lounges and umbrellas. The 44 ft pool is perfect for cooling off after time spent lying in the sun. The 82 ft lap pool beside it has waterfalls stretching along the length of one side. Splash around, get an aquatic workout, or be served food and beverages on the deck by a poolside attendant for a day of relaxation.

The infinity pool sits at the highest point of the resort, offering added seclusion and tranquility. Looking over the horizon it is the perfect place to soak and watch the sunset over the Caribbean. Or, take in the view from one of the many chaise lounges around the pool deck.

Whichever you choose, enjoy the essential vacation luxury of spending the day poolside.

Beach Facilities

 

Enjoy White Sand Beaches with Sugar Ridge Staff on Hand

Sugar Ridge’s luxurious service extends to the beach. With complimentary shuttle service to Turner’s and Valley Church Beach, swim in the Caribbean and enjoy refreshments right at your lounge chair.

At Turner’s Beach Sugar Ridge attendants will set you up with a lounge chair and umbrella, and serve you from Turner’s Beach Bar and Restaurant. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available should you desire it.

Similarly, Sugar Ridge attendants are also at Valley Church Beach for your leisure. Enjoy being served lunch and drinks at The Nest before wading out in the Sea.

All Inclusive guests enjoy signing privileges at Turner’s Beach Bar and Restaurant and The Nest. However all guests are invited to indulge in the local refreshments.

Shuttle drivers are available to drive you to the beach 7 days a week. A schedule ensures you arrive at the beach and get picked at a time that suits you. Our drivers are flexible and happy to accommodate your needs.

Should you choose to venture out on your own, other nearby beaches include Darkwood Beach, Ffryes Beach, and Crab Hill Beach.

Bike & Hike

 

Explore Antigua by Bicycle and on Foot

Sugar Ridge offers the unique opportunity to explore with a bicycle. Bike use is included for Body & Spa Inclusive guests, or can be rented for a fee of $15 for the day. Each bike comes with a helmet and lock, as well as a basket to carry the spoils of your shopping or other belongings.

Bicycles are often taken to the nearby supermarket for shopping. Jolly Harbour is also a short bike ride away, and has lots of restaurants and shops. Indulge in local cuisine and return to Sugar Ridge guilt-free, since your fun doubles as exercise!

If you’re looking for a beach day, let us pack you a picnic and help you pick a route. Along the west coast is Valley Church Beach, Ffryes Beach, and Darkwood Beach, all within biking distance.

There is lots to explore, and your bike adventure is only limited by the distance you want to go.

Sugar Ridge also offers guided walks four evenings a week. With a different destination each walk, learn about local plants and experience Antigua off the beaten track. For further exercise, a hike up Antigua’s highest point, Mount Obama, will provide unparalleled views of the Caribbean. With different trails leading to the summit, you choose your path and intensity.

Windies Villa

Luxury Villa Exclusive to Antigua’s Newest Resort

Our stylish three bedrooms Windies Villa is ideally suited for large groups of friends or families planning a memorable holiday. The latest addition to Sugar Ridge, the detached Windies Villa can comfortably accommodate up to six people.

This spacious luxury features three private bedrooms and bathrooms. Two bedrooms are complete with a King size bed and One Twin adorned with luxurious Italian linens, with its own ensuite bathroom.

A fully-equipped kitchen truly makes the Windies Villa a home away from home. A main living area gives plenty of space to socialize, or enjoy the large outdoor terrace complete with lounge chairs, a dining set, and private salt water infinity pool. Included with the villa is use of a golf cart for getting around the property, just one of the many first-class amenities.
